Today’s first deal is such a bargain: £29 return to fly to Mallorca in July including hand luggage! This Balearic island has a beautiful city centre (the Palma Cathedral is one of the most famous ones in the country), although I recommend renting a car to visit its beaches (I recommend Cala d’Or) and drive to the spectacular Serra de Tramuntana and Valldemossa, a historic mountain village known for its Real Cartuja monastery.
Venice is one of Europe’s most iconic city breaks. Take a gondola ride down the Grand Canal, see the historic Rialto Bridge or drink a coffee at St Mark’s Square.
One of my favourite city-beach combinations is Barcelona. You have incredible architecture, the iconic Sagrada Familia, Barceloneta Beach and a delicious cuisine – what else could we ask for?
Rome doesn’t need an introduction. Italy’s timeless capital is full of history: the Colosseum, the Fontana di Trevi, the Vatican and many more sights, together with perfect pasta and gelaterias in every corner. Attractions can get booked up fast, so make sure you plan which sights you’re visiting far in advance!
Rhodes is another TUI deal: at £52 return you get direct flights including hand luggage to one of Greece’s most stunning islands. Its old town is a medieval masterpiece (don’t miss the Lindos Acropolis), and the best place to soak some sun is Tsambika Beach. I recommend you take a boat trip to nearby bays to have a more secluded experience!
