From dreamy beaches to emerging capital cities, this lineup is one of the most interesting ones I’ve posted recently. Although Fuerteventura isn’t as touristy as nearby Tenerife, its virgin sandy beaches make it the perfect island holiday. I recommend renting a car (at least for a day) to explore the more remote areas of the island in unique coastal drives. Catania is perfect for those wanting to explore the authentic Sicily, and lets you take a day trip to Mount Etna for some breathtaking views.
