Today’s deals offer such a variety. To start with, Prague is a city everyone must visit at least once. Being one of my favourite cities in Europe, I was lucky to live here for a year; it is full of culture and history, very walkable (although it has a great public transport system too), affordable and has one of Europe’s most well-known nightlife scenes. On top of that, cities like Karlovy Vary (a renowned spa town) and Brno are just over an hour away – both perfect for a day trip. Although Athens sometimes gets a bad reputation, it is a city I can’t wait to go back to. It has fascinating historical sites, great cuisine (I could eat souvlakis and baklava every day) and great beaches not far away from the city centre.
Dushanbe has been on my bucket list for a long time. Apart from my long-time obsession with Central Asia, Tajikistan’s capital is genuinely worth visiting. It is very off-the-radar, but it offers a niche insight to monuments and museums from it’s Soviet history and is a gateway to the Pamir Mountains and the rest of the country. Ho Chi Minh City is energetic and chaotic, offering one of Southeast Asia’s most vibrant urban experiences. Apart from its iconic street food and markets, it is also perfect to visit the Mekong Delta. Lastly, Anchorage is the ideal remote, nature-focused trip, perfect to explore Alaska’s landscapes and wildlife.
